● Independent Variable - Independent Variable is that Variable which is Manipulated or altered
or its strength varied by the researcher in the experiment
● Dependent variable- it is expected that change in the dependent variable will ensure from the
changes in the dependent variable
● Extraneous variable- extraneous variable are those Variable which we are not intentionally
studying in our experiments , they try to show there effect on dependent variable , we have to
control , and keep it constant

● Experiment Group- An experimental group is a group in which members of the
group's are exposed to independent Variable manipulation
● Control Group - Control Group is a comparison group that is treated in every way like
the experimental group expect that the manipulation variable is absent in it
